Yauris Romero, PsyD
I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from William James College, with a concentration in Latino Mental Health. My clinical experience includes working with diverse communities, including Spanish-speaking individuals, military service members, and college students.
I have conducted comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for individuals with ADHD, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and neurodegenerative conditions. My therapeutic approach is warm and collaborative, tailored to each person’s unique needs. I integrate cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and holistic techniques to foster resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change.
Currently, I specialize in neuropsychological evaluations for Autism, ADHD, medical and neurological conditions, neurocognitive disorders, and learning disabilities across the lifespan. Under the supervision of Dr. Katerina Tolstikova, Ph.D., I work with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child, an individual navigating life’s challenges, a military service member coping with stress, or an older adult looking for guidance, I am here to help. My goal is to create a welcoming space where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Neuropsychological evaluations provide valuable insights into cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning. They help clarify diagnoses, inform treatment planning, and support individuals in reaching their full potential. I am committed to ensuring that each assessment is comprehensive, culturally informed, and tailored to meet the specific needs of every client.
