Child therapy
Child therapy is used to provide a safe place for children dealing with issues such as death of a family member, divorce, bullying, substance abuse, and social problems. Emphasis is placed on ensuring that he or she is not alone, and that the child understands what is happening. It can be effective in situations where the child is anxious, depressed, withdrawing from social situations, or exhibiting other types of problematic behavior. The counselors at Katalyst Psychological Family Center use a variety of therapeutic tools to help our clients overcome the challenges they face.
